The Mio MiVue 956W + E80 is a 3-channel bundle, pairing the 4K MiVue 956W front camera with the MiVue E80D - a single rear-mounted unit fitted with two lenses, recording the vehicle interior and the road behind simultaneously.
The front camera records 4K 2160p at 30fps with HDR (with a 2.5K 1440p at 60fps option), using an 8MP 1/1.7 inch sensor and F2.0 aperture. The MiVue E80D interior lens records 2.5K 1440p at 30fps via a 4M sensor, while its rear-facing lens records 2.5K 1440p with HDR using a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor for strong low-light performance. All three views are recorded synchronously.
An 8 metre connection cable is included with the MiVue E80D, routing power and video between the two units.
Two purchase options are available: the base bundle, or the Smart Kit bundle which adds a SmartBox 4 for Smart Parking Mode along with a 256GB microSD card, ready to use straight away.

The Mio MiVue 956W + E80 combines three recorded views from two units: the front camera facing the road ahead, and the MiVue E80D's two lenses covering the vehicle interior and the road behind.
All three views record simultaneously for a complete picture of any incident, whether that is a collision ahead, a rear-end shunt, or an incident inside the vehicle itself.
The Smart Kit bundle upgrades the base package with a SmartBox 4, enabling Smart Parking Mode with motion and impact detection while the vehicle is parked, plus a 256GB microSD card supplied as standard so the bundle is ready to record straight out of the box.
A 3-axis G-sensor on the front unit captures footage automatically when an impact is detected, and the MiVue dash cam automatically stores and protects the crucial video from being overwritten.
The Mio MiVue 956W + E80 bundle requires a microSD card, Class U3/V30 or above, up to 256GB. The base bundle does not include a card; the Smart Kit bundle includes a 256GB card as standard.
The Mio MiVue 956W + E80 records three synchronised views: 4K 2160p HDR from the front camera, 2.5K 1440p from the MiVue E80D's interior lens, and 2.5K 1440p HDR from the MiVue E80D's rear-facing lens. Together they provide a complete record of what happens ahead, behind and inside the vehicle.
The MiVue E80D's rear-facing lens uses Sony's STARVIS 2 sensor, delivering enhanced night-time footage of the road behind - useful evidence in the event of a rear-end collision in low-light conditions.
Integrated GPS provides Smart Alert speed camera warnings for fixed and mobile safety cameras, plus Average Speedcam Alert.

The Smart Kit bundle adds a SmartBox 4 to the package, enabling Smart Parking Mode - motion and impact detection while the vehicle is parked and the engine is off. It also includes a 256GB high-endurance microSD card as standard, so there is nothing further to buy before you start recording.

The MiVue 956W front camera mounts behind the rearview mirror using the supplied angle-adjustable QuickClick mount. The MiVue E80D mounts at the rear window, facing both into the cabin and out through the rear windscreen, connected to the front unit via the supplied 8 metre cable. On the Smart Kit tier, the SmartBox 4 wires to the vehicle's fusebox to enable Parking Mode.
The base bundle does not include a microSD card, so you will need to buy one separately. The Smart Kit bundle includes a 256GB microSD card, ready to use.
The MiVue Pro App is designed for use with the Mio MiVue 956W + E80 bundle. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once installed on your compatible smartphone, it connects to your MiVue 956W via Wi-Fi connectivity for fast, cable-free transfers of your videos.
Footage from all three views - front, interior and rear - is organised together within the app, categorised by date and type (Normal, Event and Parking folders), so you can quickly find and review the relevant clip.
Within the MiVue Pro App, click "Live View" to adjust the horizontal level of the front camera before installation. Change settings and format the memory card directly through your smartphone, and download and update firmware, speed camera data and voice versions without having to remove the memory card (downloading data will use your mobile data allowance).
In place of a battery, the MiVue 956W front unit uses a built-in supercapacitor. This is more temperature-resistant than a traditional battery and protects your last recording if power to the dash cam is cut.
