At ActiveGPS.co.uk, we aim to dispatch your order within hours of receipt, depending on the time it is placed. Orders are not despatched on weekends or after 3:00pm on weekdays, although we may attempt to process orders received as late as 4:00pm, but this is not guaranteed. For full details, please see our delivery schedule. We provide both UK and international delivery across our full range of sat nav, GPS systems, accessories, and maps.
UK Next Working Day and Saturday Delivery orders must be received by 3:00pm. Orders placed after 3:00pm on a Friday will be despatched on Monday, unless Monday is a Bank Holiday in England and Wales, in which case dispatch will occur on the following Tuesday.
To ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, we use sturdy cardboard boxes and bubble wrap for most shipments. While this may increase packaging costs, our priority is customer satisfaction and providing the feeling of in-store quality. Recycled packaging may also be used where appropriate.
All orders are shipped using signed-for and/or tracked delivery services to give you full reassurance that your GPS product, accessory, or map arrives safely.
Please note that certain UK services (like Economy or Standard delivery) and some international options are only tracked at key points or upon delivery attempt. Premium services, including guaranteed next working day delivery (and some international services), offer detailed tracking throughout transit.

Orders for Garmin Navionics marine charts are despatched at 3:00pm from Monday to Friday. To guarantee same-day dispatch, orders must be received by 12:00pm. Orders received after this time may be processed if possible, but no orders are dispatched after 3:00pm or on weekends.
**Royal Mail Tracked 24 & 48 Delivery Services:
While Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 24 items the following working day, this is not guaranteed—especially around weekends or Bank Holidays. For guaranteed next-day delivery, please select Guaranteed UK Next Working Day Delivery at checkout. Both Royal Mail Tracked 24 and 48 offer full tracking and allow recipients to amend delivery while the item is in the postal network.

Dispatch confirmation emails are sent after 4:00pm on Monday to Friday. We do not dispatch orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or English Bank Holidays. Orders placed after 3:00pm on Friday, or anytime on Saturday or Sunday, will be dispatched on the following Monday, unless Monday is a Bank Holiday in England and Wales—in which case dispatch will occur the following Tuesday.

During busy periods, we may prioritise orders with Standard, Saturday, or Next Working Day delivery options. This means FREE or Economy Delivery orders may be delayed. In some cases, we may upgrade your delivery to a premium service at our expense to ensure timely delivery. We aim to guarantee that Economy or Free Delivery orders are delivered within 10 working days (counting from the first working day after your order was placed).
If you need your order sooner than 10 working days, please avoid selecting UK Economy Delivery.
Example of possible delay: A customer orders a North America map over a weekend. We have six orders but only five maps in stock. Customers who paid for Standard or Next Day delivery are fulfilled first. The Economy Delivery order will be dispatched once new stock arrives, which may take several days. In some cases, Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 may be used to meet the 10-day delivery window.
For all delivery options: Pre-Order items can only be dispatched once the manufacturer releases stock, which may take several weeks. Special Order items are ordered only after a customer places an order and are dispatched once we receive stock. This can delay delivery regardless of the selected shipping option.
Orders placed after 3:00pm Friday, or anytime on Saturday, Sunday, or Bank Holidays (England and Wales), will be dispatched on the next working day. No dispatch occurs on Saturdays, Sundays, or Bank Holidays.

When do you dispatch goods for delivery?
We aim to process and dispatch all orders (subject to availability) placed before 3:00pm on any working day the same day. Dispatch usually occurs after 4:00pm Monday to Friday. We do not dispatch on Saturdays, Sundays, or Bank Holidays (England & Wales). Orders placed after 3:00pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday, unless Monday is a Bank Holiday, in which case dispatch will occur on the following Tuesday.
How quickly could I receive my order?
Delivery times depend on your location, the order date, and the delivery option selected.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We deliver worldwide, divided into three regions: UK, Europe, and Rest of the World.
Important: Deliveries to the Middle East (e.g., Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Gulf States) have a higher risk of return or non-delivery. Please ensure your address is complete, including apartment/building number, postcode, and a responsible recipient.
We use Royal Mail International Signed For Airmail with tracking. Standard rates: Europe £19.99 (up to 2Kg), Rest of World £29.99 (up to 2Kg). Lightweight items may qualify for a reduced rate – email us first for details.
All deliveries require a signature. If the recipient is unavailable, the parcel will be held at the local office. Packages not collected may be returned, and additional delivery attempts may incur a charge. Customs or tax charges in the destination country are the recipient's responsibility.
How much does delivery cost?
UK orders start at £4.99 for Economy Delivery (2-5 working days). Free UK delivery is available for orders over £50. Premium services (Next Working Day, Saturday delivery) are also offered. See UK delivery options for full details.

Do I need to sign for my delivery?
High-value orders (£200+) usually require a signature. Exceptions apply for Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 services, especially if a safe place is provided for delivery. Contact us via email if unsure.

Home deliveries may be attempted early (e.g., 06:45). If unattended, items will be held at your local collection office. Uncollected items will be returned to us after one week (Recorded Delivery) or 15 working days (Special Delivery). Delivery charges are non-refundable if an order is returned or delivery attempted.

Once dispatched from the UK, delivery is outside our control. Royal Mail considers international items lost after 25 days.
