The handlebar mount kit is a robust, heavy duty, metal bracket which attaches to the majority of handlebars and then provides a base for your Garmin unit e.g. Garmin zumo XT2 unique mount holder/cradle to attach onto. Please note: The handlebar mount kit DOES NOT include the means to mount your Garmin device onto the handlebar mount. The correct additional mount is also required.

Garmin Handlebar Mounting Kit

Do you own a Garmin zumo motorcycle sat nav, Garmin Tread or Garmin Tread 2 off-road navigator or a Garmin Montana/Monterra handheld GPS system and want to mount it onto the handlebars of your motorbike, quad bike or other vehicle with a handlebar?

The handlebar mount kit is the first thing you'll need to enable the installation. Acting as universal handlebar mount, the handlebar mount once installed acts as the base to mount your specific Garmin's mount cradle onto.

Also available separately the RAM mount Pin-Lock Security Knob (pictured right). The RAM security pin-lock knob helps prevent the handlebar mount kit from being removed from your motorcycle, etc when it is left unattended. This RAM mount pin-lock security knob replaces the RAM wing/butterfly nut on the handlebar mount kit with a lockable substitute. View the RAM mount Pin-Lock Security Knob.

The genuine Garmin handlebar mount kit is compatible with the following Garmin products:

Garmin handlebar mount kit compatible mount cradles

The Garmin handlebar mount kit is a universal mount, once installed it acts as the base to mount your specific Garmin's mount cradle onto. For example to complete the installation of the Garmin zumo XT requires both the handlebar mount kit and unit specific Garmin zumo XT motorcycle mount bracket. If you own a Garmin zumo XT2 motorcycle sat nav and want to mount it onto a new motorbike, you will need both the handlebar mount kit available from this webpage and the Garmin zumo XT2 motorcycle mount bracket (pictured right). Please note: The Garmin zumo XT2 motorcycle mount bracket is a different model to the one required for the Garmin zumo XT.
