The Garmin GPSMAP H1i Plus is a premium handheld GPS equipped with inReach Plus Satellite Technology. It boasts a bright, sunlight-readable 3.5-inch colour touchscreen display and physical buttons for easy operation. Compatible with devices via WiFi, Bluetooth and ANT+, it comes preloaded with TopoActive Europe, Middle East and Africa mapping. This comprehensive TOPO map includes summits, parks, coastlines, rivers, lakes and geographical points.

Two-way messaging is available through the 100% global Iridium satellite network (an active inReach subscription is required). Active weather forecasts maps showing temperature, wind, precipitation and clouds, as well as Geocaching Live. LiveTrack location sharing is also possible via the Iridium network. An active inReach subscription is required for these features.

The Garmin GPSMAP H1i Plus includes integrated front and back cameras, perfect for capturing selfies and trip memories. With an active inReach subscription, you can share these photos in real time even without a mobile network.

Battery life varies depending on usage. With inReach enabled, it offers up to 48 hours. Tracking provides 10 minutes, GPS mode up to 145 hours, Expedition mode with inReach up to 425 hours and Expedition mode alone up to 840 hours.

This GPSMAP H1i Plus supports additional mapping for recreational, driving, water and other activities. It’s also ideal for paperless geocaching, recording location, terrain, difficulty, hints and descriptions.

You will be able to connect the Garmin GPSMAP H1i Plus to other compatible devices using WiFi, BLUETOOTH and ANT+. When paired with a mobile phone you will have access to inReach features. For example you will have access to your phone's contact list. You can send and receive text messages to SMS and email or send messages to other inReach users to, for example, exchange locations.

You can send out SOS distress calls to GEOS 24/7 via satellite connection.

Garmin GPS navigation is possible using the preloaded Garmin TopoActive Europe mapping which provides topographic elevations, summits, parks, coastlines, rivers, lakes and geographical points.
