Product Codes: BVE102CH64, BVE102CH256
The BlackVue ELITE 10 2CH sits at the top of the BlackVue dash cam range, combining a front and rear camera system where both channels record in full 4K Ultra HD resolution. Unlike many dual-channel systems that pair a 4K front with a lower-resolution rear, the ELITE 10 2CH gives you the same picture quality from both directions - every number plate and road detail captured with equal clarity whether ahead of or behind your vehicle.
Both cameras use Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 sensors with a 12-bit image capture pipeline. This deeper colour depth - processing over 68 billion colours - is converted to a superior 8-bit output file, bringing out detail in shadows and highlights that a standard sensor simply cannot resolve. HDR processing prevents the sky from washing out or the road from going dark when light levels change, and the f/1.7 front aperture makes the ELITE 10 2CH one of the most capable low-light dash cams currently available. HEVC (H.265) compression carries this image quality efficiently without excessive file sizes.
Smart Parking Mode protects your vehicle around the clock. A continuously running 10-second pre-event buffer means the camera captures what was happening before an impact, not just after. BlackVue Cloud features - remote live view, GPS tracking, video backup and two-way voice - are accessible via the free BlackVue App whenever you have a Wi-Fi connection. For permanent always-on remote access, the optional CM100GLTE module adds 4G LTE connectivity using a data SIM of your choice (module and SIM both sold separately).

Both cameras in the ELITE 10 2CH are built around the Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor, giving you 8.4 megapixels of resolution on each channel. The front camera records at 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 30fps through an 8-element f/1.7 lens covering a 146-degree diagonal field of view. The rear camera matches the resolution - 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 30fps - through a 7-element f/2.0 lens at 142 degrees diagonal. Horizontal coverage is 125 degrees on both cameras, ensuring wide lane coverage in all conditions.
A 12-bit capture pipeline processes over 68 billion colours before delivering a superior 8-bit output, retaining tonal detail that a standard 8-bit pipeline discards entirely. HDR technology balances exposure across the frame in real time - licence plates remain readable whether you are driving into bright sunlight or emerging from a tunnel. Reduced motion blur keeps fast-moving vehicles sharp in the frame. All footage is encoded using HEVC (H.265), delivering the best available quality at every bitrate setting, with H.264 (AVC) available as an alternative for compatibility with older playback software.
The ELITE 10 2CH offers three Parking Mode options to suit different situations. Power Saving Mode draws under 1mA of current and wakes in under one second when an impact is detected - extending how long the unit can run from a battery pack. Motion Detection Mode records continuously when movement is detected by either camera. Time Lapse Mode creates a compressed record of activity over longer periods without filling the card.
A 10-second pre-event buffer runs constantly in the background, so when an impact triggers an Event recording, the footage includes what happened in the 10 seconds before the sensor fired - the moment another vehicle struck yours is always captured, not just the aftermath. Up to 50 Event files are protected from the normal recording loop overwrite, so incidents are preserved even when the card fills up.
Built-in battery protection keeps your vehicle battery safe during extended Parking Mode use. A timer cut-off can be set between 1 and 48 hours, and a voltage cut-off (configurable from 11.8V to 12.5V for passenger vehicles) stops the unit before your battery drops too low to start the engine. A high-temperature cut-off at approximately 70 degrees C protects the unit during hot summer days. Please note: Parking Mode requires either hardwire installation using a hardwire cable (sold separately) or the optional BlackVue B-130A battery pack or BlackVue B-112 battery pack. The supplied cigarette lighter cable does not support Parking Mode in most vehicles.
The ELITE 10 2CH is compatible with BlackVue Cloud, giving you remote access to your vehicle through the free BlackVue App on iOS and Android. When connected to the internet, the app provides Remote Live View so you can see what the cameras see in real time, Remote Video Playback to review footage without removing the card, GPS Tracking to follow your vehicle's location history, Emergency Notifications when the G-sensor detects an impact, and Video Backup to copy important clips to cloud storage or your phone. Two-way voice communication is available via the unit's built-in speaker and microphone.
The ELITE 10 2CH connects to your smartphone directly via built-in dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11ac, supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz). For permanent always-on 4G connectivity to BlackVue Cloud - so remote features work even when no Wi-Fi is present - the optional CM100GLTE external module can be added. The CM100GLTE uses a standard data SIM of your choice and is available from our BlackVue accessories page. The module and SIM are sold separately and are not included with the ELITE 10 2CH.
Dual-band GPS and GLONASS is built in, recording your speed and location alongside every video frame. Footage can be played back with an accurate map overlay in BlackVue Viewer, useful for insurance claims or incident reviews where route context matters. The 3-axis G-sensor detects impacts, hard braking, sharp cornering and sudden acceleration, automatically tagging the relevant clip as an Event file and protecting it from overwrite.
Three recording modes cover all situations: Normal mode for standard driving, Event mode for impact-triggered clips, and Parking mode for stationary monitoring. An SD Card Failure Alert gives a spoken voice warning through the built-in speaker if the microSD card develops an error - you will always know if recording has been interrupted. Adaptive Format-Free file management, developed by BlackVue, improves recording stability and reduces the frequency of manual card formatting compared with standard FAT32 systems.
The front camera mounts on the interior of your windscreen using the supplied double-sided tape pad. The rear camera connects to the front unit via the included 6-metre coaxial cable and mounts on the rear windscreen using a second tape pad. Cable routing clips are provided to tuck the cables tidily around the headliner and door seals. For driving use, power is via the included cigarette lighter cable. For full Parking Mode operation, a hardwire connection to a constant 12V supply is required - hardwire cables are available separately, or the B-130A or B-112 battery packs provide a self-contained power solution that does not require wiring into the vehicle's fuse box.
The free BlackVue App (iOS 15.0 or later, Android 10.0 or later) connects to the ELITE 10 2CH via Wi-Fi for live view, video management, settings adjustment and BlackVue Cloud features. BlackVue Viewer for Windows (Windows 7 or later) and Mac (Sierra OS X 10.12 or later) is also free to download and provides a full desktop interface for video playback with GPS map overlay, G-sensor graph display, and settings management. Both are available free from BlackVue's website.

Do you have a question about the BlackVue ELITE 10 2CH that is not answered on this page? Please see our Dash Cam FAQs for questions from other customers. If your question is not listed, use the online form to submit it. Alternatively call us on 01733 777623 Monday to Friday (9:30am-5:00pm). The BlackVue ELITE 10 1CH records only from the front-facing camera in 4K Ultra HD. The ELITE 10 2CH adds a second 4K Ultra HD rear camera, allowing you to record both the road ahead and the road behind simultaneously. Both cameras in the 2CH version use the same Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 sensor and the same 4K resolution, so rear footage quality matches the front - an important distinction from dual-camera systems that use a lower-resolution sensor for the rear channel.
No. The BlackVue ELITE 10 2CH does not have built-in 4G LTE. It connects to your smartphone via built-in dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11ac, 2.4GHz and 5GHz) for local access and settings. Always-on 4G connectivity for remote BlackVue Cloud features requires the optional CM100GLTE external module, which is sold separately and uses a standard data SIM of your choice. You can find the CM100GLTE on our BlackVue accessories page.
The cigarette lighter cable supplied in the box powers the ELITE 10 2CH while driving but does not support Parking Mode, as the socket is unpowered when the ignition is off in most vehicles. To enable Parking Mode you have two options: have the unit hardwired to a constant 12V supply using a hardwire cable (sold separately), or connect the optional BlackVue B-130A or BlackVue B-112 battery pack, which provides a dedicated power source independent of the vehicle battery.
The ELITE 10 2CH records dual 4K streams simultaneously, which produces larger file sizes than a single-channel or lower-resolution unit. The 64GB card gives approximately 2-3 hours of loop recording at the default High quality setting (30+30 Mbps combined). The 256GB card extends this to approximately 8-10 hours before older files are overwritten. If you intend to use Parking Mode overnight, the 256GB option is recommended. Both cards supplied by ActiveGPS are genuine BlackVue-approved microSD cards.
The ELITE 10 2CH is designed primarily for passenger cars and light vans. It is not weatherproof and is not suitable for exposed motorcycle installation. It can be used in a caravan or motorhome provided the front camera is mounted inside on the windscreen and the power supply is managed correctly - note that the built-in battery protection timer and voltage cut-off settings are designed around 12V passenger vehicle systems. For motorcycle use, please see our BlackVue dash cam range for weatherproof alternatives.
No. The BlackVue ELITE 10 2CH operates independently of your vehicle's infotainment system and does not integrate with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It connects to your smartphone using its own BlackVue App via Wi-Fi, or optionally via 4G using the CM100GLTE module. The dash cam has no screen of its own - all video playback and settings are managed through the BlackVue App or BlackVue Viewer software on a PC or Mac.

The 1CH is the right choice if you only need front-facing protection, or if your vehicle already has a factory rear camera. Choose the 2CH if you want complete front and rear coverage - especially useful for insurance purposes and for capturing incidents that happen behind your vehicle. For a full range comparison see our BlackVue dash cam comparison table.
The ELITE 10 2CH is the right choice if image quality is your first priority. It is one of the very few dual-channel dash cams where the rear camera matches the front in both sensor quality and resolution - most rivals pair a high-resolution front with a compromised rear. If you are involved in an incident where another vehicle hits you from behind, the rear footage from the ELITE 10 2CH will be as clear and detailed as the front.
It is particularly well suited to: premium and executive cars where a discreet, high-quality camera is expected; company fleet vehicles where clear evidence recording is a business requirement; drivers who park in public places overnight and want reliable Parking Mode protection; and anyone who has previously owned a lower-resolution dash cam and found the footage insufficient for insurance or legal purposes.
If dual 4K rear recording is more than you need, the BlackVue ELITE 10 1CH offers the same flagship front camera at a lower price. If budget is the primary consideration, the BlackVue ELITE 8 2CH provides dual 2K Quad HD front and rear recording with the same Sony STARVIS 2 sensor technology at a more accessible price point. For buyers considering alternatives from other brands, our BlackVue dash cam comparison table covers the full range.
