The Mio MiVue R860WD is a premium touch mirror-type dash cam that fits neatly over your vehicle's existing rearview mirror using the supplied rubber band holder kit. A large 11.26-inch IPS anti-glare touchscreen forms the display, giving a clear view of the road ahead in place of your mirror's reflection.
Unlike the mirror unit itself, the front and rear cameras are separate modules, so each can be mounted wherever gives the clearest view without being blocked by ADAS sensor boxes on the windscreen. Recording resolution is 2.5K 1440p at 30fps with HDR, or Full HD 1080p at 60fps, and the package includes the Mio MiVue T70 rear camera along with a 7m rear camera cable.
Both cameras use Sony's STARVIS 2 technology CMOS sensor, delivering clearer, sharper detail and improved brightness in night-time driving conditions. Footage is recorded in the efficient SuperMP4 (H.265) format, keeping file sizes manageable without sacrificing quality.
Integrated GPS provides Safety Camera Warnings, Custom Speedcam Smart Alert and Average Speedcam Alerts, together with HUD Display Mode and Cruise Control Reminder. Integrated Wi-Fi with QR code pairing connects you to the MiVue Pro app in seconds, for video backup plus over-the-air firmware and safety camera updates.

The Mio MiVue R860WD replaces your existing rearview mirror with a touch mirror-type unit, while the front and rear cameras are separate modules connected via a 3-in-1 L-shaped cable that keeps the wiring hidden from view.
Recording quality is handled by Sony's STARVIS 2 technology sensors front and rear, capturing synchronised 2.5K 1440p footage at 30fps with HDR, or Full HD 1080p at 60fps, for sharp, detailed video in a wide range of lighting conditions.
The 11.26-inch IPS anti-glare touchscreen covers the full width of the mirror housing, giving you a bright, glare-free view of the road as well as touchscreen access to camera settings, playback and menus.
A 3-axis G-sensor detects impacts automatically, while 3-in-1 Parking Mode adds event and continuous monitoring while your vehicle is left unattended.
The Mio MiVue R860WD microSD card should be Class U3, V30 or above, up to 256GB. A microSD card is not included in the box.

The Mio MiVue R860WD upgrades to Sony's latest STARVIS 2 technology sensor, building on the original STARVIS platform with sharper detail and improved colour reproduction in low-light and night-time driving. Footage is recorded in the SuperMP4 (H.265) format, a high-efficiency codec that keeps file sizes down without compromising on picture quality.
A large 11.26-inch IPS display with anti-glare treatment forms the mirror unit, with a narrow bezel that fully covers your vehicle's original rearview mirror. Touchscreen operation makes it simple to adjust camera settings, review recorded footage and navigate the on-screen menus without needing a separate control.
Integrated GPS provides Mio's Safety Camera Warnings for both fixed and mobile safety cameras, along with Custom Speedcam Smart Alert. Average Speedcam Alerts calculate your remaining time, distance and average speed through average-speed zones, while HUD Display Mode and Cruise Control Reminder add further at-a-glance information as you drive.

The Mio MiVue R860WD mirror unit fits directly over your vehicle's existing rearview mirror using the supplied rubber band holder kit. The front and rear cameras are 3M-mounted separately at their chosen positions on the windscreen and rear window, connected to the mirror unit via the 3-in-1 L-shaped cable and the 7m rear camera cable. Power is supplied via the included 12V power cable and 12V car charger.
There is no microSD card in the box. You will therefore need to buy a microSD card separately.
The MiVue Pro App is designed for use with the Mio MiVue R860WD. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once installed, simply scan the QR code shown on the R860WD's screen to connect via Wi-Fi in a single step, for fast, cable-free transfer of your videos.
When an incident happens, the Mio MiVue R860WD automatically saves the file to the event folder and sends footage to the MiVue Pro app in real-time via Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi video backup uses point-to-point transmission technology, so it will not consume your 3G, 4G or 5G data).
Within the MiVue Pro App, click "Live View" to adjust the horizontal level of the camera before installation. Videos are categorised by date and type (Normal, Event and Parking folders), and the front and rear footage recorded by the Mio MiVue R860WD is backed up to the MiVue Pro app synchronously.
If the backup is interrupted, for example by an incoming call, simply reopen the MiVue Pro App. It will resume the transfer from where it stopped.
Change the settings and format the memory card of the Mio MiVue R860WD directly through your smartphone. You can also use your compatible smartphone to download and update the firmware, speed camera data and voice versions without having to remove the memory card (downloading data will use your mobile data allowance). Please note: the update settings may vary depending on the different Mio dash cam models.
The Mio MiVue R860WD includes 3-in-1 Parking Mode: Full-time Monitoring provides continuous recording while your vehicle is parked, Power-saving Mode activates recording when motion or an impact is detected, and Time-lapse Mode records at a reduced frame rate to extend the available recording duration.
Please note: recording resolution automatically drops to 1080p at 30fps in Parking Mode to maximise SD card space, and both front and rear cameras support motion detection recording.
