The Mio MiVue J20 is the most compact single front-facing dash cam in the Mio MiVue J series, recording Full HD 1080p at 30fps via a 2M sensor and 120-degree wide-angle lens with F2.0 aperture.
Its stylishly small form factor, just 36mm x 37.5mm x 32mm and 68g, gives plenty of mounting flexibility. The J20 supports video flip for upside-down installation, so it can be positioned to suit your vehicle.
Integrated Wi-Fi connects the MiVue J20 to the MiVue Pro app for video backup, as well as over-the-air firmware updates.
In place of a traditional battery, the MiVue J20 uses a built-in SuperCap, offering stronger resistance to temperature extremes and protecting your last recording if power to the dash cam is cut.

The Mio MiVue J20 is the compact, single-camera entry point in the Mio MiVue range, designed for drivers who want reliable dash cam footage without a complex install.
Recording is in Full HD 1080p at 30fps via a 2M sensor, with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and F2.0 aperture capturing a wide view of the road ahead.
Integrated Wi-Fi connects the MiVue J20 to the MiVue Pro app for fast video backup. Video flip support means the camera can be mounted upside down, so installation is not limited to one fixed orientation.
A 3-axis G-sensor detects impacts automatically, saving the relevant event footage and protecting it from being overwritten during continuous recording.
The Mio MiVue J20 microSD card should be Class 10 or above, up to 128GB. A microSD card is not included in the box.
The Mio MiVue J20's compact form factor does not come at the expense of recording quality. Full HD 1080p footage at 30fps, via an F2.0 aperture, 2M sensor and 120-degree wide-angle view, captures clear, evidence-quality footage should you ever need it for an insurance claim.
Video flip capability means the MiVue J20 is not limited to a single mounting position. The primary installation is front-facing behind the rearview mirror, keeping the camera out of sight, but the J20 can equally be mounted cabin-facing to capture the vehicle interior, or rear-facing to record the road behind.
The Mio MiVue J20 features integrated Wi-Fi, enabling video backup to the MiVue Pro app as well as over-the-air firmware updates, without needing to remove the memory card.
The Mio MiVue J20 is designed to be plug-and-play. It powers on automatically when the vehicle engine starts and begins recording immediately, with no setup required.

The Mio MiVue J20 mounts behind the rearview mirror using the supplied 3M mount, with video flip supporting alternative positions if desired. Power is provided via the supplied in-vehicle USB-C charger. Please note: the MiVue J20 does not include a hardwire kit, as the SmartBox is not part of the J20 bundle.
The MiVue Pro App is designed for use with the Mio MiVue J20. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once installed on your compatible smartphone, it connects to your Mio MiVue J20 via Wi-Fi connectivity for fast, cable-free transfers of your videos.
When an incident happens, the Mio MiVue J20 automatically saves the file to the event folder and sends footage to the MiVue Pro app in real-time via Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi video backup uses point-to-point transmission technology, so it will not consume your 3G, 4G or 5G data).
Within the MiVue Pro App, click "Live View" to adjust the horizontal level of the camera before installation. Videos are categorised by date and type (Normal, Event and Parking folders).
If the backup is interrupted, for example by an incoming call, simply reopen the MiVue Pro App. It will resume the transfer from where it stopped.
Change the settings and format the memory card of the Mio MiVue J20 directly through your smartphone. You can also use your compatible smartphone to download and update the firmware without having to remove the memory card (downloading data will use your mobile data allowance). Please note: the update settings may vary depending on the different Mio dash cam models.
