The Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv Fishfinder, features GPS technology and includes WiFi to connect to Active Captain and Quickdraw Contours. Quickdraw Contours allows you to automatically store water depths (when used with a transducer). The screen size is 7-inch with keypad control.

The Striker is available with or without GT52HW-TM transducer (sv models) or with GT20-TM (cv model). The GT52HW-TM will allow you to view beneath your boat for fish and also the side view from under your boat (DownVu and SideVu) whereas the GT20-TM will allow you to see below your boat only.

Using the GPS technology you can mark waypoints and navigate back to them. You will also be able to view your boats speed.

The 3 in 1 transducers provides traditional sonar, DownVu and Side Vu.

The Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv has been discontinued.

The replacement model is the Garmin STRIKER Vivid 7sv.

The Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv is a fishfinder with GPS technology and CHIRP Sonar. The screen on the STRIKER Plus 7sv and STRIKER 7cv is 7-inch colour display.

Built-in Wifi enables you to connect to Active Captain to receive smart notifications right on your screen. WiFi can also be used to access Quickdraw Contours Community and download waypoints and software update downloads (Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv model ONLY).

Automatically record water depth to the Garmin Striker device to create your own on the water charts using Quickdraw Contours. These created charts can then be shared with other Garmin Striker devices using the WiFi ocnnectivity (Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv model ONLY).

With the in-built GPS technology you can mark hotspots such as good fishing locations, docks or ramps. You can then easily navigate back to these stored locations. If you have a echoMAP charplotter too you can share waypoints and routes between your STRIKER and a Garmin echoMAP system. You are also able to view the speed of your boat or yacht on the display. Please note: Although the Garmin STRIKER has GPS technology it is not a Chartplotter.

With the STRIKER Plus 7sv you will get CHIRP Traditional Sonar, Sonar History Rewind, Waypoint Map, Boat Speed Display and Built-in Flasher.

Both Garmin DownVu and SideVu Scanning are included with the Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv whereas only ClearVu is available with the STRIKER 7cv. CHIRP DownVu enables you to view below your boat whereas the CHIRP SideVu enables you to view the side of your boat. DownVu shows the view below the boat. The CHIRP technology is an advanced technology that provides an ultra-clear image showing the views beneath your boat or yacht and at the sides of your vessel too.

The STRIKER Plus 7sv includes either the GT20-TM or GT52HW-TM transducer (depending which option you select at the add to basket section above). These transducers offer mid and high CHIRP. The ClearVu provides 260/455/800 kHz and traditional sonar supported is 50/77/200 kHz. The GT20 transducer must be mounted. The Garmin GT20 transducer has a transom mount for use on a boat whereby the boat should be an outboard powered vessel. This transducer includes down vision and side scan.

If you would like to purchase a Garmin STRIKER with a smaller screen size then there is a 4.3-inch (STRIKER Plus 4cv) and 5-inch (STRIKER Plus 5cv) models available too.

Smooth scaling software technology for depth range adjustments is also provided with the Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv.

Installation

The Garmin STRIKER Plus 7sv and 7cv includes a tilt mount for mounting on your boat or yacht. The Garmin GT52HW-TM (or GT20-TM with the 7cv) Transducer included is for use on a boat whereby the boat should be an outboard powered vessel. You will be able to see the view of the water below and to the sides of your boat/yacht as Garmin DownVu and SideVu both feature on this Garmin device. Please note: If you buy the STRIKER 7cv you will only get ClearVu providing a view below your boat only.
