Garmin GPSMAP 65s outdoor handheld device features a 2.6-inch transflective 65K colour screen and is preloaded with routable TopoActive Europe.

Garmin GPSMAP 65s also features built-in altimeter, barometer and 3-axis electronic compass and uses an internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery for a battery life of up to 16 hours in GPS mode.

The Garmin GPSMAP 65s utlises multi-band GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology using five different worldwide satellite networks; GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS and IRNSS. The benefit means you receive optimal accuracy in challenging locations for example dense wooded areas, steep valleys and canyons, high-rise urban area, etc.

You can also add additional mapping to the Garmin GPSMAP 65s for recreational use, driving, use on water and more. It is also perfect for paperless geocaching as it will record location, terrain, difficulty, hints and descriptions.

The Garmin GPSMAP 65s handheld GPS device features a 2.6-inch sunlight-readable transflective 65K colour display and expanded Multiple Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to track your journey in more challenging environments which is better than GPS alone.

The Garmin GPSMAP 65s is preloaded with TopoActive Europe maps. Topographical maps provide detailed views of routable street and off-road networks, waterways, natural features, land use areas, buildings and more at a scale of between 1:100K to 1:250K. In addition, you can also download high-resolution 'BirdsEye satellite imagery' to the Garmin GPSMAP 65s without an annual subscription. BirdsEye satellite imagery provide photo-realistic maps directly to your device. Enabling you to easily find paths, tracks, trails, find parking, create waypoints and more.

Garmin GPSMAP 65s features built-in altimeter, barometer and 3-axis electronic compass. The GPSMAP 65s altimeter provides elevation data to monitor ascent and descent information. The GPSMAP 65s 3-axis compass keeps you bearing wherever you are, while the GPSMAP 65s barometric altimeter predicts weather changes by showing short-term trends in air pressure.

When paired with your compatible smartphone via Bluetooth, you can receive real-time forecast information and live weather radar, so you’re aware of the surrounding conditions.

The GPSMAP 66s has a 16 hours battery life in GPS mode. Battery power is supplied by two AA batteries (not included with purchase).
