The Garmin Dash Cam Tandem is the perfect dash cam for taxi and other professional drivers e.g. driving instructors that seek to not only capture events in the road ahead, but also any possible events that may happen inside the vehicle too.

Featuring two lenses, the Garmin Dash Cam Tandem provides complete coverage around the driver. Both the forward-facing lens and rear-facing lenses captures 180° field of view.

The front-facing lens records crisp 1440p video at 30fps, while the interior lens captures 720p video at 30fps. The interior or rear-facing lens also features Garmin's exclusive NightGlo Technology, so you can record driver and passenger activity even during hours of darkness.

The Garmin Dash Cam Tandem camera automatically saves video when it detects an incident. With built-in GPS and Galileo satellite technology, you’ll have proof of exactly when and where events occurred.

The Garmin Dash Cam Tandem is tiny, being even smaller than most car keys. And it’s so discreet and unobtrusive, you’ll hardly notice it at all.

Built-in WiFi connectivity syncs video to the Garmin Drive app for easy viewing and sharing on your smartphone. You can also sync up to four Garmin Dash Cam Tandems with a single smartphone.

Garmin Dash Cam Tandem dash camera features two lenses. One lens records the road ahead while the other lens records inside the vehicle, providing complete coverage around the driver - day and night. Both Garmin Dash Cam Tandem cameras record in a 180-degree field of view.

You can pair the Garmin Dash Cam Tandem camera with your smartphone and the Garmin Drive app via the Garmin Tandems built-in WiFi connectivity. The Garmin Drive app allows you to set up a multiple-camera network (of up to 4 Garmin dash cams), change camera settings, and view, edit, and save photos and videos.

The Garmin Dash Cam Tandem also features spoken voice control, this feature allows you to control your Garmin Dash Cam Tandem camera by saying words and commands. You can change the voice control language using the Garmin Drive app. Voice control languages include: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish.

A parking mode cable is separately availabe to enable the recordng when motion is sensored in front of and inside your vehicle when it’s parked and your vehicle is turned off.

Installation

You can locate the Garmin Dash Cam Tandem on the front windscreen, which also helps to ensure the highest quality recordings and does not obstruct your view of the road ahead. As well as the Dash Cam you will also get in the box a dual USB power adapter that enables you to charge multiple devices/accessories at the same time in your vehicle. A low profile magnetic windscreen suction mounting bracket is also provided for quick installation and dismounting of the Garmin Dash Cam Tandem. If you want to use the parking mode, you will need to buy the Parking Mode Cable which is sold separately.

You can connect the camera to your computer to install software updates or transfer videos and photos to your computer.
