The Garmin dual beam transducer comes complete with installation instructions. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damaging your boat.
The Garmin dual beam transducer features an 4-pin connection. Depending upon the Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder you intend to connect the dual beam transducer transom mount transducer to you may need to additionally buy the following Garmin adaptor cable to complete the installation:

Please note: The compatibility list above is not definitive, with many older Garmin chartplotter and fishfinder models also being fully compatible with the dual beam.
