Once connected the BC 30 receiver cable enables you to not only power/charge your compatible Garmin nuvi or dezl or Camper sat nav, but also receive reverse camera footage on your Garmin sat nav too. In addition, the cable also enables you to maintain your Garmin satnavs original traffic subscription as it also includes an intergral traffic receiver.

The BC 30 receiver cables internal FM antenna receives the regular RDS (Radio Data System) signal and relays relevant traffic information to the screen of your sat nav, thus giving you advance warning and enabling you to simply re-route around the congestion. If the FM signal is weak simply plug in the external antenna which is included in the box when you buy from ActiveGPS. If you lose this external antenna or need another a replacement you can buy the antenna here.
