Garmin 12-pin Transducer Y-Cable (010-12225-00)

Connect a port and starboard pair of thru-hull or transom mount Garmin transducers to a single 12-pin sonar port on a compatible Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder using this genuine Garmin 12-pin Transducer Y-Cable.

This Y-cable allows the use of two separate 12-pin GT transducers to produce independent left and right SideVu images, eliminating the engine lower unit or keel and hull shadowing that can occur when using a single transducer.

Compatible with all 12-pin GT transducers - both transom mount and thru-hull.

Garmin 12-pin Transducer Y-Cable - Port & Starboard

Run a port and starboard pair of thru-hull or transom mount Garmin transducers into a single 12-pin sonar port on your compatible Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder with this genuine Garmin 12-pin Transducer Y-Cable.

The cable divides the sonar signals so that each transducer handles a specific job. The starboard (right-side) transducer is used for Traditional sonar, ClearVu, right-SideVu, water temperature, and transducer ID. The port (left-side) transducer is used exclusively for left-SideVu imagery. This arrangement means both sides of your vessel are covered independently, eliminating the blind spots that can be caused by the engine lower unit, keel, or hull when a single transducer is used.

Both ends of the Y-cable are clearly labelled with PORT and STARBOARD stickers, making installation straightforward. The cable is approximately 10 metres (32.8 ft) in length, making it well suited to thru-hull transducer installations where cable runs are longer.

Please note: A shorter 2-metre version of this cable is also available (Garmin part number 010-12225-10), which is better suited to transom mount installations where the transducers are close to the sonar unit.

Using the Garmin 12-pin Transducer Y-Cable

The Garmin 12-pin Transducer Y-Cable is compatible with all 12-pin GT transducers, whether transom mount or thru-hull. You can pair up to two GT30, GT40, or GT50 series transducers using this cable. Typical port and starboard pairings include:

Please note: Only certain transducer combinations will work correctly as described above. Please ensure your chosen pairing uses compatible SideVü elements before purchasing. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Optional Garmin BlueCharts

Garmin BlueChart marine chartsIf you'd like to add Garmin marine BlueCharts to your compatible Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder, you can do just that by buying and loading Garmin BlueCharts.

The charts come preloaded on microSD card together with an SD card adaptor. Simply insert the card into your compatible Garmin device and you are ready to navigate with the latest nautical Garmin charts.
