Mio MiVue 955WD dashboard camera features a built-in 2.7-inch display which allows you to playback videos instantly on the dash cam. The Mio MiVue 955WD also includes a rear camera for recording the view behind your vehicle.

Front camera recordings are made in 4K quality through an F2.0 lens which works in all light conditions and also includes night mode. There is a 140 degree wide-angle lens for capturing a wide view of the road ahead for both the forward and rear facing cameras.

Utilising the latest motion detection technology the Mio MiVue955WD can automatically activate and record videos when a motion is detected near the front of your vehicle. To enable recording at all times requires the Mio MiVue 955WD dual camera dash cam to be connected and powered via the Mio MiVue Smartbox III (sold separately).

No microSD card is included in the box. You will need to purchase the microSD storage card separately.

The Mio MiVue 955WD in-car dashboard camera features a built-in 2.7-inch display which allows you to playback videos instantly on the dash cam. The Mio MiVue 955WD also includes a rear camera (Mio MiVue E60) for recording the view behind your vehicle. Power to the rear camera is via a cable provided in the box which also sends video to be recorded to the front dash cam unit.

Integrated GPS records your route so you can track your route on a computer. The Mio MiVue 955WD also records and stores your GPS speed, altitude, longitude, latitude and heading. Speed cameras are also alerted to as well as speed limits so you will always know the road speed limit.

3-axis G-Sensor captures footage automatically when an impact is detected and the MiVue dash camera automatically stores and prevents the crucial video from being overwritten.

Synchronized recording for extreme clarity

Mio MiVue 955WD provides extreme clarity through the 4K 2160P (8MP) resolution, which is a four times higher resolution than Full HD, and the 2.5K 1440P (5MP) rear cam for the ultimate protection.

1/1.8" Large sensor

Mio MiVue 955WD produces a stunning video image quality with 1/1.8" large sensor, which is 1.7 times larger than normal sensor. In comparison with smaller image sensors, 1/1.8" large sensor provides outstanding picture clarity and extremely vivid colors, whilst recording brighter video in lowlight conditions.

Integrated high speed Wi-Fi

The Mio MiVue 955WD dash cam features integrated high-speed Wi-Fi enables high-speed transmission, making video downloading even faster. Scan the QR code shown on MiVue 955WD to connect to Wi-Fi via MiVue Pro App easily and quickly in one step.

Rear cam (Mio MiVue E60) included with STARVIS sensor and Backward Collision Warnings (BCW)

The Mio MiVue 955WD dash cam device comes with the MiVue E60, which uses Sony's premium STARVIS sensor to record footage with enhanced night vision in 2.5K 1440P at 30fps HDR. Drivers will be alerted when the cars behind are too close through the Backward Collision Warnings from MiVue E60.

Installation

The Mio MiVue 955WD dash cam comes supplied with two cameras. The MiVue 955WD main or forward facing camera needs to be mounted on your vehicles front windscreen. A supplied cigarette lighter power cable enables you to power the main camera. Mounting the front camera is via the supplied 3M windscreen mount. The rear camera (Mio MiVue E60) is designed to be mounted on your vehicles rear windscreen, sometimes referred to as parcel shelf window. To connect the MiVue 955WD main/front camera with the rear camera the unit is supplied with an 8metre rear camera cable when you purchase from ActiveGPS.

MiVue Pro App

Change the settings and format the memory card of the Mio MiVue 955WD dash cam directly through your smartphone.

When an incident happens, the Mio MkiVue 955WD dash cam will automatically save the file to the event folder and send footage to the Mio MiVue Pro app via WIFI in real-time (WIFI video backup function won’t consume your 3G/4G data, it uses point-to-point transmission technology).

Use your smartphone to download and update the firmware, speed camera data and voice versions without having to withdraw the memory card. (Downloading data will consume your 3G/4G data).

Average Speedcam Alert

Mio MiVue 955WD shows the distance and time (seconds) to a speed camera location, and also provides the speed limit and average speed of the interval.

Please note: Safety camera and speed camera alerts are not active in France, Germany, Romania, Switzerland and Turkey.
