Garmin Mini USB Cable - £6.59

Garmin mini USB Cable

Would you like to update your Garmin sat nav or other devices mapping or POIs (Points of Interest)? Maybe you'd like to download a software or firmware update? Or maybe you'd like to transfer photos, music or waypoints to or from your device? Using the mini USB cable (and dependent on your Garmin model) you can achieve all this and more.

What's more when the mini USB cable is connected between a PC and your Garmin sat nav with an internal battery, the cable will also recharge your sat nav too.

Simply connect your Garmin device to your Windows or Mac PC via your units mini USB connector and your computers USB (Universal Serial Bus) connector often located on the back of your PC.

Please note: The mini USB cable is NOT supplied with any software and/or drivers. To enable your Garmin sat nav or other GPS device to talk to your PC, you will first need to download and install the correct software. This software may be found on a CD-Rom/DVD supplied with your original Garmin purchase and/or is available as a free download from the Garmin website.

Mini or micro USB cable

Most Garmin devices require the mini USB cable connector, as pictured on the right in the photo. However a handful of Garmin systems require the micro USB connector pictured on the left in the photo.

The other end of both cables will always be a standard size USB cable to connect into your PC/Mac/Laptop.

Before buying we recommend that you check which USB cable you require for your Garmin. If you look closely on the underneath, back or sides of your Garmin unit you will find the port which the mini or micro USB cable plugs into.

A full list of compatible systems that use the mini USB cable is available further down this webpage. To view the micro USB list of compatible devices click here.
