Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 records video of events along your journey and is very small for a discrete installation. You can sync up to 4 dash cams using the Dash Cam Auto Sync mode whereby if you save video on one camera, the other dash cams in the car will also save their current recordings. Furthermore you will have two power cable options to allow for upward (4m) or downward cable (1.5) routing.

The Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 records in nonstop continuous loop but there are other modes such as parking mode and playback via a Smartphone (using the Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity).

Parking mode is available for monitoring your cars surroundings while car is parked and the engine is off. The device uses motion detection to automatically begin recording (requires parking mode cable which is sold separately).

The Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 features Bluetooth and WiFi make it easy to wirelessly view, edit and share captured media on the Garmin Drive app.

Recordings are made at 1080p resolution 30 frames-per-second (fps) and the recording angle is 140-degree field of view. You can view video on a compatible mobile phone using a Bluetooth or WiFi connection.

Installation

You can locate the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 on the front windscreen, which also helps to ensure the highest quality recordings and does not obstruct your view of the road ahead. As well as the Dash Cam you will also get in the box a low adhesive magnetic windscreen suction mounting bracket is also provided for quick installation and dismounting of the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2. If you want to use the parking mode, you will need to buy the Parking Mode Cable which is sold separately. The microSD is sold separately.
