BlackVue DR970X 2CH (2 channel) dual camera dash cam records events both in front and behind your vehicle, or in the interior of your vehicle in 4K UHD at 30fps (front camera) and Full HD 1080p at 30fps (rear camera). Events are recorded whilst the vehicle is moving and also when it is parked when using the included hardwire power cable thanks to the units motion detection technology.
The BlackVue DR970X 2CH dash cam also features built-in GPS and WiFi to enable you connect with the BlackVue App (iOS/Android) to easily adjust settings and transfer videos to your compatible smartphone and/or tablet.

The BlackVue DR970X 2CH is a 2 channel dashboard camera to capture events both front and back or in the interior of your vehicle. The front camera records in 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition), while the rear facing camera records in Full HD (High Definition) 1080p vehicle as you drive. In addition to capturing videos whilst driving, the BlackVue DR970X 2CH also captures video when your vehicle is parked using the dashcams motion detection to begin recording. The installation of the included hardwire power cable is require to enable the parking mode.
The front facing DR970X 2CH camera records 4K UHD videos at a 155-degree wide view angle and 30 fames per second. With H.265 (High Efficiency Video Coding), videos look better and files are smaller, while the dual-band WiFi ensures blazing fast transfer to your phone. The rear facing DR970X 2CH camera records Full HD 1080p videos at a 139-degree wide view angle and 30 fames per second.

Using the supplied hardwire power cable the BlackVue DR970X 2CH can be hardwired to your vehicle's fuse panel to enable the Parking Mode function. Once installed and connected, every time the vehicle ignition is turned off the DR970X 2CH dashcam will switch to Parking Mode automatically. The DR970X 2CH is also compatible with additional BlackVue Parking Mode Kits and Batteries, these are all available separately. While driving, the BlackVue DR970X 2CH built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) automatically detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, the BlackVue DR970X 2CH detects visual movements around your vehicles.
All the videos that the BlackVue DR970X 2CH records are tagged by 3 recording modes; 1. Normal, 2. Event, 3. Parking Mode motion or time lapse. You can then use the the filters in the BlackVue App and BlackVue Viewer to easily find the relevant one via these recording modes.
The BlackVue DR970X 2CH front dashboard camera records 4K UHD (3840×2140) at 30 Frames Per Second (FPS) videos in a 155-degree wide view angle. The BlackVue DR970X 2CH dashcam features a 8-megapixel CMOS sensor recording in 4K Ultra High Definition. The rear facing camera records in Full HD 1080p at 30 Frames Per Second (FPS) videos in a 139-degree wide view angle using Sony STARVIS CMOS imaging sensor (Approx. 2.1MP).
Receive vehicle monitoring in real-time via your smartphone. To enable this feature requires the purchase and connection of the BlackVue CM100LTE Cloud Module to the BlackVue DR970X 2CH dashcam. Once connected the BlackVue CM100LTE will provide easy 4G LTE connectivity. All you need is a valid Nano SIM card. The CM100LTE connects via the USB port of your dashcam. Your BlackVue powers the module and automatically accesses the Cloud when the module is plugged in. Please note: when purchasing, make sure the CM100LTE is compatible with your mobile phone network.
Event Files Overwrite Protection: The BlackVue DR970X 2CH dash cam records in a loop, overwriting older files when the memory is full. The BlackVue DR970X 2CH can prevent Event files (triggered manually or by impacts) overwriting. Up to 50 files can be protected this way. You can choose to allow new Event files to overwrite past Event files, thus keeping the latest 50 safely stored on the microSD card you are using. You can buy the BlackVue DR970X 2-CH from ActiveGPS with either a supplied 64GB, 128GB and 256GB or microSD card.
Adaptive Format-Free File Management: this BlackVue-developed file system improves recording stability and requires less microSD card formatting.
SD Card Failure Alert: should there be an error with the inserted microSD card, the BlackVue DR970X 2CH detects this as soon as the microSD card fails and warns you via a spoken "Please check SD card" voice alert from the built-in speaker of the BlackVue DR970X 2CH dashcam.
The optional BlackVue DR970X 2CH tamper proof case (BTC-1C) is a security accessory that blocks physical access to the microSD card and the cable connectors, thus highly reducing risks of data tampering. Please note: the BTC-1C designed for DR970X 2CH replaces the dashcam's mount.

The BlackVue DR970X 2CH dash cams (front and rear) fit discreetly on your vehicles front windscreen and rear windscreen using the supplied double-sided tape pads. The rear camera can also be installed within your vehicles' interior if you prefer, e.g. taxi driver, driving instructor, etc. To power and charge the BlackVue DR970X 2CH dash cam in your car, van, etc a cigarette lighter power cable is included with the purchase from ActiveGPS. Alternatively, the BlackVue DR970X 2CH can be hardwired to your vehicle’s fuse panel to enable the Parking Mode feature with the included hardwire power cable. The DR970X 2CH will switch to Parking Mode automatically when the vehicle ignition is turned off. Voltage cut off and timer can be set using the BlackVue App.
The BlackVue Viewer (Windows/Mac OS) and BlackVue App (iOS/Android) are free to download and use. Both allow you to change settings and review videos sorted by time and type (Normal/Event/Parking). With the BlackVue App, connect via WiFi using a compatible smartphone/device to the BlackVue DR970X 2CH to watch your videos instantly.
