BlackVue DR590X 1CH (1 channel) dash cam records events in front of your vehicle in Full HD 1080p at 60fps and a 139-degree wide view angle using the Sony STARVIS imaging sensor. Events are recorded whilst the vehicle is moving and also when it is parked when using the included hardwire power cable thanks to the units motion detection technology.
The BlackVue DR590X 1CH dash cam also features built-in WiFi to enable you connect with the BlackVue App (iOS/Android) to easily adjust settings and transfer videos to your compatible smartphone and/or tablet.
The BlackVue DR590X 1CH doesn't include GPS technology as standard. However, an optional external GPS antenna can be purchased. Once connected, the DR590X will then record your vehicles speed and location on all recorded files.
A 32GB microSD card is included with the BlackVue DR590X 1CH purchased from ActiveGPS. However, you can buy and use microSD cards in the additional following three sizes; 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

The BlackVue DR590X 1CH is a 1 channel dashboard camera to capture events in front of your vehicle as you drive. In addition to capturing videos whilst driving, the DR590X 1CH also captures video when your vehicle is parked using the dashcams motion detection to begin recording. The installation of the included hardwire power cable is require to enable the parking mode.
The DR590X-1CH records Full HD 1080p videos at a 139-degree wide view angle. With the Sony STARVIS imaging sensor, provides image clarity day and night. The BlackVue DR590X 1CH records super fluid videos at a high frame rate of 60fps (frames per second).
The BlackVue DR590X 1CH dash cam features built-in WiFi to enable you connect with the BlackVue App (iOS/Android) to easily adjust settings and transfer videos to your compatible smartphone and/or tablet.
Using the supplied hardwire power cable the BlackVue DR590X can be hardwired to your vehicle's fuse panel to enable the Parking Mode function. Once installed and connected, every time the vehicle ignition is turned off the DR590X 1CH dashcam will switch to Parking Mode automatically. The DR590X 1CH is also compatible with additional BlackVue Parking Mode Kits and Batteries, these are all available separately. The BlackVue DR590X 1CH automatically detects impacts and sudden changes in speed while your vehicle is moving. In addition while you vehicle is parked, it also detects movements.
All the videos that the BlackVue DR590X 1CH records are tagged by 3 recording modes; 1. Normal, 2. Event, 3. Parking Mode motion or time lapse. You can then use the the filters in the BlackVue App and BlackVue Viewer to easily find the relevant one via these recording modes.
The BlackVue DR590X 1CH dashboard camera records at 60 Frames Per Second (FPS). The advantage of 60fps video capture is that the DR590X dash camera records extra fluid videos keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30fps. That means your BlackVue can better capture details - like number plates - even in fast-moving objects.
As standard the BlackVue DR590X 1CH dashcam does not include GPS technology. However, should you require GPS an external GPS receiver connects directly to the DR590X micro USB port. Once connected GPS capabilities will add speed and location data to your videos. Speed: speed data - in Km/h or Mph - will be overlaid in the video (this can be turned off in the settings). Location: you can visualise the location of your vehicle in the BlackVue Viewer's Map during video playback.
Event Files Overwrite Protection: The BlackVue DR590X 1CH dash cam records in a loop, overwriting older files when the memory is full. The BlackVue DR590X can prevent Event files (triggered manually or by impacts) overwriting. Up to 50 files can be protected this way. You can choose to allow new Event files to overwrite past Event files, thus keeping the latest 50 safely stored on the microSD card you are using. A 32GB microSD card is included with the BlackVue DR590X 1CH purchased from ActiveGPS. However, you can buy and use microSD cards in the additional following three sizes; 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Adaptive Format-Free File Management: this BlackVue-developed file system improves recording stability and requires less microSD card formatting.
SD Card Failure Alert: should there be an error with the inserted microSD card, the BlackVue DR590X detects this as soon as the microSD card fails and warns you via a spoken "Please check SD card" voice alert from the built-in speaker of the BlackVue DR590X 1CH dashcam.

The BlackVue DR590X 1CH dash cam fits discreetly on your vehicles windscreen using the supplied double-sided tape pad. To power and charge the BlackVue DR590X 1CH dash cam in your car, van, etc a cigarette lighter power cable is included with the purchase from ActiveGPS. Alternatively, the BlackVue DR590X 1CH can be hardwired to your vehicle’s fuse panel to enable the Parking Mode feature with the included hardwire power cable. The DR590X 1CH will switch to Parking Mode automatically when the vehicle ignition is turned off. Voltage cut off and timer can be set using the BlackVue App.
The BlackVue Viewer (Windows/Mac OS) and BlackVue App (iOS/Android) are free to download and use. Both allow you to change settings and review videos sorted by time and type (Normal/Event/Parking). With the BlackVue App, connect via WiFi using a compatible smartphone/device to the BlackVue DR590X 1CH to watch your videos instantly.
