The ICOM IC-M73 EURO VHF handheld marine radio is waterproof to IPX8 submersion rating. With a bright, LCD screen and slim egonomic body the ICOM IC-M73Euro is ideal for both business and leisure purposes and is designed for use in rain, snow and other severe weather conditions.

700mW loud Audio makes it clear to hear even in noisy environments.

AquaQuake function allows you to clear the systems speaker of water when you have submerged it in water or used it in wet conditions. This VHF radio does not float. For a floating Marine radio see the ICOM 93.

The Icom IC-M73 Euro is a marine radio which is waterproof to IPX8 Advanced Waterproof submersion rating which means it can go underwater to a depth of 1.5m (4.9ft) for a maximum of 30 minutes. The design is a slim, hourglass body and it features a wide viewing angle, bright LCD screen. Should you drop it in water or use it in the rain the AquaQuake water draining function will eject water from the speaker grille with low frequency sound. This radio is designed to be used in the rain, snow or other severe weather conditions making it ideal for both leisure and business customers.

The Icom IC-M73 features Dual/Tri-watch function for monitoring Channel 16 and/or call channel. Favourite channel and tag scan functions also are included. Plus it provides 700mW loud Audio with bridge-tied load (BTL) amplifier which doubles the audio output. The result of these features is clear sound even in noisy environments.

The battery indicator has 4 levels. The rapid charger BC-210 is supplied with the IC-M73 EURO. With a long battery life this is a solid, dependable handheld VHF radio.

Hands free operation is possible using the VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) function. With the OPC-1392 headset cable you can use a variety of optional HS-94, HS-95 or HS-97 headsets. Plus the VOX gain and VOX delay time are adjustable.

Other features of this ICOM Handheld VHF Marine Radio are auto power save function and a FA-S64V short antenna.
