The Garmin tactix Delta Sapphire Edition features a 1.4-inch sunlight-readable display with domed sapphire crystal lens. The Garmin tactix Delta multisport GPS smartwatch is housed with a black diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coated steel bezel and a fibre-reinforced polymer with black PVD-coated steel rear cover. Additional watch straps, named Garmin QuickFit 26 bands can be purchased in a variety of finishes and colours for use with the Garmin tactix Delta smartwatch.
The Garmin tactix Delta Sapphire is your perfect wrist mounted fitness partner indoors as much as it is outdoors. It's preloaded with tactical-specific features such as Jumpmaster, ClimbPro, waypoint projection, dual-position GPS formatting and preloaded tactical activity.
The Garmin tactix Delta is also preloaded with TopoEurope and Ski maps. Use TopoEurope maps to navigate your adventures. When skiing or snowboarding you can view run names and difficulty ratings for 2,000 worldwide ski resorts.
The Garmin tactix Delta can also be paired with your compatible smartphone via the Garmin Connect app. Once connected you can receive smart notifications including emails, texts and alerts right on the screen of the Garmin tactix Delta watch face.
The unit's rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 21 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, up to 60 hours GPS mode with wrist-based heart rate and up to up to 120 hours when the max battery GPS mode is activated.
To connect to other devices e.g. smartphone and optional Garmin tactix Delta accessories, the Garmin tactix Delta Sapphire features built-in Bluetooth connectivity.

Jumpmaster - The jumpmaster feature follows military guidelines for calculating the high altitude release point (HARP). The tactix Delta smartwatch automatically detects when you have jumped to begin navigating toward the desired impact point (DIP) using the barometer and electronic compass. The jumpmaster feature allows you to set the jump type to one of three types: HAHO, HALO, or Static.
Waypoint Projection - You can create and save remote geo positions, which you can recall later to aid in navigation to that particular waypoint or position.
ClimbPro - Use ClimbPro ascent planner on downloaded courses to see real-time information on your current and upcoming climbs, including gradient, distance and elevation gain.
Night Vision Mode - Easily switch between daytime view and night time view with a screen that can be read by night vision goggles.
ABC Sensors - Navigate your next trail with ABC sensors, including an altimeter for elevation data, barometer to monitor weather and 3-axis electronic compass.
Wrist-based Heart Rate - The Garmin tactix Delta GPS based smartwatch features a built-in wrist-based heart rate monitor and is also compatible with Garmin chest heart rate monitors (sold separately). You can view heart rate data on the heart rate widget. If both wrist-based heart rate and chest heart rate data are available, the Garmin tactix Delta uses the chest heart rate data.
Turn-by-Turn Navigation - Follow a route or course with help from turn-by-turn directions, which let you know ahead of time when the next turn is coming.
Stealth mode - Enable stealth mode to stop storing and sharing your GPS position and disable wireless connectivity and communication.
Kill Switch - If security becomes an issue, the kill switch wipes the Garmin Tactix Delta device of all user memory.
