Mounting options

The Garmin nuvi 465T suction cup mount comes with two different ways to mount your nuvi sat nav.

Windscreen mounting

Using the supplied cradle and windscreen suction cup mount, simply affix directly and firmly to your vehicles windscreen, thanks to the snap close design.

Dashboard mounting

In addition an adhesive round dashmount disc is also included when you buy from ActiveGPS. Simply pick a flat area on your vehicles dashboard and attach the mount disc directly onto your vehicles dash top ready for the suction cup mount.

Alternative mounting option

Looking for a non permanent mounting solution? Looking to use your nuvi 465T in multiple vehicles? Worried about suction cup mount marks on your cars windscreen? The answer is to buy the Garmin nuvi 465T Portable Friction Mount.

The portable friction mount unlike both the mounting options that are supplied with the nuvi 465T suction cup mount, doesn't require suction or adhesive, and therefore doesn't leave any trace when it's not in use. Plus it can be picked up and moved with ease.

How does it achieve all this? The portable friction mount is weighted with a non slip base, which is simply placed on your dashboard.

Please note: The cradle is not supplied with the friction mount. To use the portable friction mount with your nuvi 465T requires both the portable weighted mount (pictured above left) and the nuvi 465T mount cradle. Powering your nuvi 465T

To power and charge your nuvi 465T in-car, you will also need to buy the nuvi 465T vehicle power cable. Alternatively, and if you'd like to receive (or continue to receive) traffic alerts, then you will need to the buy the Garmin GTM 36 FM Traffic Receiver (pictured right). The GTM 36 include a vehicle power cable for charging and powering the nuvi 465T and a built-in FM traffic receiver with lifetime subscription.
