Snooper 4ZERO features GPS, laser and radar detection which will alert to both fixed and mobile speed cameras on UK and European roads among many other countries around the world via a worldwide database of speed camera locations.
On approach to a fixed speed trap stored in the Snooper 4ZERO internal memory, the 4ZERO will beep 3 times and emit a voice alert with the road speed limit. At the same time the display will visually confirm the alert. The Snooper 4ZERO include both a windscreen mounting bracket and a velcro pad for dashboard mounting. Subscription charges apply - £2.99 a month, £7.99 a quarter or £29.99 a year.
Snooper 4ZERO - £149.99
Snooper 4ZERO is a GPS, laser and radar speed camera detector. The 4ZERO includes the Snooper AURA database of GPS locations of known fixed and mobile speed cameras. The 4ZERO has built-in laser and radar detection so you will be alerted to active or new mobile speed camera locations (the Snooper 4ZERO can tell you whether a radar based GATSO speed camera is live or switched off).
The three technologies included in the Snooper 4ZERO are:
‣GPS database - features fixed and mobile cameras, some fixed cameras like Truvelo and SPECS are undectable via a radar or laser detector - this is when your really need a database!
‣Radar detector - detects mobile 'in use' radar based guns and all live Gatso cameras.
‣Laser detector - detects mobile 'in use' laser based gun. These are the more commonly used mobile cameras that are used by the Police and Safety Camera Partnerships.
GPS database alerts
As you approach a fixed speed camera location the Snooper 4ZERO device will beep three times and emit a voice alert confirming the road speed limit where the speed camera is located. At the same time the OLED display will visually confirm the alert and display your vehicles current speed. The advantage of the beeps and voice alerts is you never need to take your eyes off of the road to be alerted to each speed camera.
Subscription charges apply, they are £2.99 a month, £7.99 a quarter or £29.99 a year. It is also possible to use the Snooper 4ZERO as radar and laser detector only, without paying for the Snooper AURA GPS database. To do this simply turn 'off' GPS alerts in the devices menu.
The Snooper 4ZERO has a 'speed limit' feature whereby you can set a speed limit and if you accidentally stray above this speed you will be alerted. The Snooper 4zero also has a volume dial that can be adjusted to alter the volume of the alerts to speed cameras you receive. There is also a mute button.
The screen on the 4ZERO (pictured below) is OLED which will display your vehicles speed, GPS signal strength, electronic compass, current time and whether City Mode is on or off.
As you approach a mobile speed camera location the Snooper 4ZERO will confirm the frequency type (X, K, Ka). In addition to voice alerts, you will also hear audible beeps.
The 4ZERO uses front-facing radar and laser detection. The detection range on this snooper speed camera detector has been increased and is now more sensitive than previous speed camera detectors. The result is that you will receive advanced pre-warning providing you with more time to react to alerts given by the Snooper 4ZERO.
Furthermore, Snooper have added a rear facing laser detector to the Snooper 4ZERO so you will know if the Police are targeting your vehicle from behind too. There is also a City Mode which can be switched on the reduce the number of false alerts from shop doorway sensors, shop and house alarms and such like when using the radar and laser detectors. There is also a Motorway mode whereby alert volumes for detection can be predetermined.
Radar and Laser alerts
When you are within the range (up to 1 mile) of a live 'in use' radar or laser based system, the 4ZERO's screen confirms what is being detected i.e. 'K' band for a radar based system, the unit then also sounds an intermittent beep.
Snooper 4ZERO will provide advance warning of the following mobile laser and radar speed traps:

Snooper AURA speed camera database
The Snooper 4ZERO, like all Snooper speed camera detectors, gets the GPS speed camera data from the Snooper AURA speed camera database - subscription fees and connection to your Windows based PC apply. The database provides advanced warnings to known fixed and mobile speed camera locations across the UK, Europe and in a growing number of other countries across the world.
The Snooper AURA database is constantly updated with the latest locations - but you must regularly connect to an internet enabled PC to download the latest update. More information about the subscription charges can be found here or by scrolling down to 'Speed Camera Subscription' further down this webpage.
HADECS 3 speed camera alerts
HADECS 3 are a new type of 'stealth' speed camera which are typically found on motorways in the UK. HADECS speed camera locations are now located within the Snooper AURA speed camera database which you can subscribe to with the Snooper 4ZERO.
HADECS 3 speed cameras use radar technology. The Snooper 4ZERO (which features radar detection) will detect the radar emitted by the HADECS, when they are switched on and operational.
However, the Police/camera operators typically only use HADECS 3 cameras when a reduced or 'variable' speed limit is being enforced. So a radar alert will only sound if the HADECS 3 camera is switched on and is operational at the time you drive past.
Snooper 4ZERO GPS database alerts will sound irrespective of whether the camera is operational or not.

Snooper 4ZERO Questions and Answers
Question: I'm thinking of buying Snooper 4ZERO but I don't have a PC only a Samsung Galaxy Android tablet that only has a power port no usb. Is there any other way I can perform updates please let me no before I waste my money thank you.
Answer: The Snooper 4ZERO requires a Windows based PC/laptop with Internet connection and USB connection to enable the speed camera subscription updates. It is NOT possible to update the 4ZERO on your Samsung device.
Question: Will the zero4 work with heated wind screen?
Answer: It will depend upon the windscreen in your vehicle. I would recommend you speak to your car dealership e.g. Ford and ask them whether your model e.g. Focus will block out a GPS satellite signal. If the answer is no, then the Snooper 4ZERO will work. There may be a specific area on your windscreen that allows for GPS devices e.g. sat navs, speed camera detectors to operate through the windscreen.
Regretfully, we don't have a list of vehicle makes/models that will and won't work.
