Simply connect the GPS antenna to the Pogo Alert Plus's power bracket and you are ready to pick up satellites.

The external GPS antenna needs to be located in the vehicle where it has a clear line of sight of the sky above. If the front windscreen is preventing a satellite signal, try the rear parcel shelf instead.

Compatibility: Compatible with Pogo Alert Plus v2, v3 and v4.

Pogo Alert Plus GPS Antenna

The Pogo Alert Plus as standard includes a built-in GPS antenna, located in the units main casing (as pictured right). When using the Pogo Alert Plus in vehicles with windscreens with metalised content e.g. a climate comfort windscreen or an electrically heated front windscreen, the Pogo Alert+ may be unable to achieve a satellite lock through it. In these cases you will need to buy and use the external GPS antenna.

The remote GPS antenna is easy to use with the Pogo Alert Plus and plugs directly into the power bracket.

As well as buying the GPS antenna for functionality of the speed camera detector. You may also wish to purchase it to enable discreet mounting. Using the GPS antenna allows you to place the Pogo Alert+ head unit elsewhere in your vehicle, rather than having to place it on your windscreen or dashboard where it can see the sky above and orbiting GPS satellites.

Please note: This antenna is strictly for use with the Pogo Alert Plus and NOT the original Pogo Alert. If you require a GPS antenna for the Alert Plus (Alert+) you can buy the correct one here.

How to tell if you have an Pogo Alert or Pogo Alert Plus?

The Pogo Alert was an early predecessor to the Pogo Alert+. The original Pogo Alert was finished with a brushed metal outer casing to the back and sides, while the current Alert Plus has an all black finish (as pictured right).

Another way to tell the difference is that the new Alert+ has a touchscreen display, whereas the original Alert model had control buttons on the top and menu/volume controls on the left hand side. Still unsure which model you have? Please contact us and we'll be happy to advise you.
